My name is Ali H. Kashani, a current graduate student at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. My research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks and TinyOS applications. Currently I have been investigating how TinyOS tasks are dispatched and mapped onto the TI MSP430 microprocessor on the TMote wireless node.
I passed by the TEP 106: Schedulers and Tasks and got a clear idea how the scheduler works software wise. Besides, I've downloaded the TinyOS code and went over few significant libraries and interfaces such as SchedularBasicP. What I'm interesting in is on the hardware level, which is how tasks are taken from the queue and mapped on the processor, what kind of libraries/algorithms are used for this purpose. I would really appreciate your help in guiding me to articles, tutorials or anything that clearly explains such issues. Again your help is much appreciated sir, waiting for your reply.
