Hi there, I am using the pre-configured tos-virtual-machine inside of VMWare
player to do my TOS programming. I am doing a small project in TinyOS and
VMWare player has been very much useful to me. However, I am only being able to
compile my program here but not able to download the program to the motes.I
always make sure that the serial port is connected to the computer. When i
attempt to load the program to the motes by using the command: make mica2
reinstall mib510,/dev/ttyS1 It prompts with:installing mica2 bianary using
mib510uisp -dprog=mib510 -dserial=/dev/ttyS --wr_fuse_h=0xd9 -dpart=ATmega128
--wr_fuse_e=ff --erase --upload if=build/mica2/main.srec.outProgarammer is not
responding.make:***[program] Error 2 I even tried to download it by changing
the port number but the same errror message resulted.Is this because the serial
port is not connected to VMWare? But i have made sure that it is connected and
there is a clear deprssed button of the serial port indicating the connection
at the top. Can anyone please suggest somehting. Your help will be appreciated.
