IT sounds like you have OTAP'd your sensor nodes? Which firmware app did
you use during this process?

Which firmware app did you program into the base Mote?

Are you receiving heartbeat messages in the Server messages window?

What is that you are trying to achieve from these experiments?

Subject: [Tinyos-help] MTS400 in Moteview

Hi,

We got two Mica2s (433MHz) with MTS400 sensor boards and programmed via
MIB520, and tried to use MoteView to monitor the motes.

We now could finish the search, query, program, and reboot without
problems in MoteConfig, the motes could be searched, and XMesh is also
set up on the basestation and motes.

However, when we are trying to connect to WSN in MoteView, and set all
the subjects, it only could get health information of motes but the
sensor data.

And a window would jump up and say

"There is no response from the base station. Please check your
connections and click Search again."

The error messages show again and again,

"[MV : 8/28/2008 3:37:06 PM]System.NullReferenceException: Object
reference not set to an instance of an object.

at XBow.Plugin.Topology.MoteMapIsoBar.DrawMoteGlow(UInt16 nodeid, String
sensor)."

We've struggled with it for a period time trying to figure out what is
the problem.

If any suggestion and help is welcome and helpful for us. Thanks a lot.

Regards,

Naomi Li
