Hello, I am once again having very little luck with getting TinyOS to
work.
I was using cygwin on windows to run but that ended up crashing the
computer. I think my motherboard died. I had just got it barely working
in windows when this happened. I have now started again at trying to
work with TinyOS but now I have using Ubuntu for an operating system.
Currently I can program the motes but cannet get anything on the java
side to work. I think I am supposed to type configure some where to do
something but configure does nothing on my computer. When I try
tos-install-jni I get something about a libgetenv.so permission died. I
looked where it was supposed to get this file from and I do not have
it. I am sort of new to the linux envirment and perhaps missed
something when installing everything. I can run the HelloWorld java
program with no problem but nothing works so far with TinyOS.
I am unsure if this is conected but I downloaded the packages for
msp430 but I do not see a directory in the opt directory like I saw on
my previous system.
Someone please help, I have to present my findings for a mid-term grade
this week but cannot get TinyOS to work correctly yet again.
