Hi everyone,

I have installed TinyOS 2.1 on Cygwin (Windows XP) following the
instructions in the link below:
http://docs.tinyos.net/index.php/Installing_TinyOS_2.1#Manual_installation_on_your_host_OS_with_RPMs

After that, I run *tos-check-env* to check if the installation is OK or not.
The result seems that there is nothing wrong except a warning saying that Im
not installing jdk 1.4 or 1.5 because I have already installed jdk 1.6
according the instructions.

The problem is that when I run *motelist*, a message appears saying that:
*error, could not open key
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\Vid_0403&Pid_6001*

Then, I google this error message, but there is no solutions to solve the
problem effectively. Some people explain that updating the driver is needed.
Actually, then I have uninstalled the driver and upgraded the driver version
to 2.04.14, which is the latest and downloaded from http://www.ftdichip.com/.
(I am using iris motes) However, the problem has not gone away.

I guess someone may encounter the same problem as me. Hope to receive
answers from you.
Thank you very much!!!

Michael
