Hi Brendan-- It sounds like a couple of people have been having this
problem.  I think we've reproduced it here (finally) and it seems specific
to ubuntu, so I'll have a look this afternoon and see if I can get to the
bottom of it.  Hopefully I'll have a patch later today that fixes the issue.
