Hi, sorry, I forgot to explain you my environment. I'm working on TinyOs 2.x installed on windows/cygwin, telosb motes (but I know tossim works only for micaz). It's important for me catch the C++/Tossim-T2 simulation's state as well as the state of every network's mote (sleeping, transmitting, receiving etc.).
I've got a lot of questions so I think it would be better if, in addition to the explanations you'll eventually give me, you raccomend me a document to read. Thank you, Francesco > Are u working in TinyOS 1.x or 2.x....... > > On Tue, Mar 10, 2009 at 4:48 AM, [email protected] < > [email protected]> wrote: > > > Hi all, > > > > i'm looking for the easiest way to intercept events from a C++ TOSSIM-T2 > > simulation. > > I red the TOSSIM tutorial found on the TinyOs wiki and so I know there is > > an > > easy way to provide comands to the simulation (t->runNextEvent() is an > > example). > > I also read that TOSSIM-T2 provides channels and a Java tool to manage the > > simulation and inspect its state. > > I could use channels, redirecting the output on a file and parsing its > > content, but it seems impratical. > > I know TOSSIM(-T1) provides two TCP/IP connections to TinyViz.
