Here's some basic advice:

although on re-reading, it only makes sense because I know what
it's supposed to say...so...basically, on cygwin systems put this
in your $HOME/.bashrc file:
export PATH="$PATH:/some/new/directory"
where the new directory is the one that contains tinyviz.
