Hi,

It means that the entry point of the "basename" procedure was not found
in cygwin1.dll.

I'm not sure what basename is or where it comes from. In my experience,
if an entry point in a DLL could not be found, then almost always an old
version of the DLL is used. I would recommend to first try to update
cygwin. To do this you can run the cygwin installer, which then finds
new versions of the installed packages. If this does not work, you might
want to verify that you do not use multiple versions of the DLL (search
for files called cygwin1.dll).

Cheers,
Urs
