Hi all, I have been reading the S-MAC protocol ( http://www.isi.edu/div7/publication_files/tr-567.pdf).
In the experimentation part, a line topology consisting of 11 nodes is used for evaluation. 1 ----> 2 ----> 3 ----> 4 ----> 5 ----> 6 ----> 7 ----> 8 ----> 9 ----> 10 ----> 11 Node1 is source and Node11 is sink. The message is sent from the source, forwarded by the 9 intermediate nodes and then received by the sink. The minimum transmission power is used and the nodes are put in a 1-meter space. I need to repeat this experiment but I have no idea where to start. My question is how the message is forced to visit every node on the way to the sink. Hope to hear from you very soon.
