Hi all, I have been through the output programming in the CC2420 data sheet. What are the relationships (if any) between output power (dBm) and current consumption (mA)? For example, the current consumption required for the output power of -25 and 0 dBm are 8.5 and 17.4 mA, respectively.
The -25 and 0 dBm are approximately equivalent to 3 and 1,000 micro-watts. Do they demonstrate the power strength of the generated signal? I am wondering why a 100% increase in current consumption (8.5 to 17.4 mA) provides more than 300 times increase (3 to 1,000 micro-watts) in the signal strength. Thanks, Ittipong
