Why are you using rpm files in a Ubuntu distribution? There are a tinyos
repository for Ubuntu/Debian
I have this line in my "sources.list" file
deb http://tinyos.stanford.edu/tinyos/dists/ubuntu feisty main
If you use rpm you can have problems with dependencies (because the name
of packages are not the same in Ubuntu than in Red Hat). So you are
forced to reinstall the same packages for redhat and Ubuntu version.
Look in TinyOs documentation how to install for Ubuntu get you
sources.list line updated and play! :-)
