Hi All, In the contrib cvs you can find an initial release of the msp430X support for tinyos. ( http://tinyos.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/tinyos/tinyos-2.x-contrib/dexma/tos/chips/msp430X/ ).
The main diferences between the msp430 (msp430F1611) an msp430X (msp430F2617) are related to the USCI module. USART module is no longer available. Even it is an initial release, most of the code has been tested and has been working on production environments, specially the SPI code to connect to a CC2420. UART has also been tested but not really intensively, I2C has been finnished some days ago and maybe you can find some bugs. Please, remember that to use this code you have to change your default mspgcc instalation for a fresh compiled mspgcc from repository. If you have any doubts, proposals, questions, etc, do not hesitate to ask, to the mailing list or directly to me. If necessary, I can provide the code for a msp430X+CC2420 platform as an example.
