Hi Emanuele, the sniffer code in contrib has not been updated to match the recent changes in the CC2420 driver. We currently don't have plans to further maintain that part of the code. Essentially the apps/BaseStation15.4 in the main tree should be used instead, but it lacks channel switching support at the moment. The wireshark dissectors should still be ok.
