I have created a new platform, i followed the instructions given in this pdf - http://www.diku.dk/hjemmesider/ansatte/leopold/work/leopold07t2plat.pdf
The complie argument I gave is *"make <platform name>*" And the variables i have mentioned are declared in msp430x16x.h in the directory /opt/msp430/msp430/include. Yeah, Telosb has msp430f1611, but telosa has msp430x149 and the directory /tos/chips is used by both the platforms. So, I think it has no problem for msp430f2618?
