Hi, you can change the default payload length up to 114 by defining PFLAGS += -DTOSH_DATA_LENGTH=X both in the application and Basestation Makefile.
I guess the chosen default value has been determined by taking into account overhead-error rate tradeoffs. Btw, if you search the mail archive, there are already a few post on this topic, Cheers, -- Raffaele Gravina | Research Engineer Wireless Sensor Networks Lab Berkeley 2000 Hearst Ave, suite 304 Berkeley, CA 94709 +1 510 666 0174 ext. 101 2009/9/30 Phaneendra <[email protected]> > What is the maximum payload size in CC2420 802.15.4 radio frame? > > I see that the transmit buffer in CC2420 manual is 128 bytes.
