Just wanted to clarify that I did not install the ports you mentioned, but rather patched the src/configure file and followed the instructions mentioned here: http://docs.tinyos.net/index.php/Installing_tinyos-2.x_on_Mac_OS_X_%28Tiger_&_Leopard%29
