Hi all,

I've just signed up to the tinyos-help mailing list today - I'm a student at
the Waterford Institute of Technology in Waterford, Ireland. I'm studying
for a MSc in Communications Software and as part of my research I have
undertaken a dissertation looking at the XMesh routing protocol. WSNs are a
completely new area to me, to be honest, but I'm finding it all very
interesting thus far! I've yet to decide on research questions.

As a side project, I'm doing a research essay on evaluating security within
WSNs. I've taken a look at research papers and discussed the security goals
of WSNs alongside the various mechanisms and frameworks that have been
presented I'd be interested to see if theres any security attacks people
know of that I could safely setup to demonstrate for academic purposes
only.. I have access to the following resources:

- 1 x Crossbow MIB520 interface board
- 4 x Crossbow MPR2400CA micaz motes
- 4 x Crossbow MDA100CB sensor boards
- Crossbow software (MoteView, MoteConfig, etc), Programmer's Notepad, etc.

Thanks for your help in advance! :-)

Regards,
Dave.
