Kartik,

I suggest that you take a look at the nesdoc (google tinyos nesdoc) for the platform you are developing for. By looking at the components you currently use to send messages, you can drill-down the wirings until you find the MAC implementation.

Learning how to use grep to search contents of files will really help in your search. After you find the file(s) that implement the MAC, you can read its contents to determine where it performs CCA checks prior to transmitting.

Hope that helps. I could search myself for your platform and find the files for you, but as the saying goes.

"If you give a man a fish, he will have a single meal. If you teach him how to fish, he will eat all his life."

Good luck with the search.

Hi All,

I want to over ride the MAC protocol. I want to ensure that a mote sends a message continuously without sensing the channel. In fact I would like to implement a jammer. Can anyone please tell me how to do it?

Thanks in advance,

Kartik
