Hi,

I don't know what causes the problem but when I program a mote, it doesn't
run and stucks in a nonprogrammable state. Whenever I try to program it with
tos-bsl it says:

"An error occoured:
Timeout"

Does anybody have an idea about what may be causing this, and/or how to
solve it? Or are the motes non-usable from now on?

They are recognized on USB, motelist works fine, but after "Mass erase..."
part (or "Transmit default password" part if I don't use -e option) tos-bsl
gives the error.

I might have loaded the mote with an .exe file instead of .ihex but I'm not
sure, does that matter? I think it would just not load it, right?

I found a mail on the archives which advices reprogramming bsl pins with
JTAG:
http://mail.millennium.berkeley.edu/pipermail/tinyos-help/2005-February/007656.html

Will that work? And do I really have to use JTAG? How come it can be broken
by bsl and only fixed with JTAG?
