We are looking for 1) top-class students willing to start a PhD in Ireland, salary is ~€20.000/year after taxes 2) Senior Software developers/Research Scientists with competitive salary (~€50.000 year) * * Positions will be based at the CLARITY centre, University College Dublin, The candidates should have a demonstrable strong knowledge of programming database/web services, embedded networked sensor systems (TinyOS or Contiki) and java programming. The project has strong market potential and will focus on market-driven sensor networking solutions for energy monitoring, activity recognition and device actuation in buildings. The positions will be based at the CLARITY centre University College Dublin, Ireland. Duties The aim is to develop a novel tool based on sensor network for carbon footprinting, auditing and control of buildings. The user will be able to monitor and control the energy spent and will also personalise information to the users to reduce their carbon footprint.
