Hello Vinay, If they absolutely refuse to give you superuser rights, can you at least get to install a virtual machine client (Vbox: http://en.opensuse.org/VirtualBox_installation) and run Xubuntuos for example? I believe the admins can add you to the list of users after Vbox is installed.
