hi.. i have a sending and receiving program in which the sender sends packets and the receiver on receiving the packet measures the RSSI to get received signal strength. i am subtracting 45 from the value read as RSSI to get received power in dBm. The problem is that i am sending at a power level of -25dBm (power level 3) but my received signal strength is -10dBm. how is that possible (it shouldnt be greater than the sent power right)???? i am keeping the sender and receiver very close to each other and i am also using an external antenna of 2.2dBi gain, in case that helps you answer.... thanks. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ Tinyos-help mailing list [email protected] https://www.millennium.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tinyos-help
