Hey TinyOS Team,
I''m trying to create a multi-hop mesh network using the CC1010 but
first..... This is my first post here so I'd like to pay my respect to the
developers and contributors for TinyOS. It looks like a promising platform
and I look forward to playing with it further, and hopefully contributing
something back.
I'm wondering if TinyOS could be adapted to run on the CC1010 (8051 core).
My main concern is the radio, is it necessary to have 802.14.5 supported in
hardware or does TinyOS have some way to support this on the CC1010
transceiver? I'm particular interested in getting the Open-ZB
ImplementationIEEE running.
I'm retro-fitting some motes we already have, so hardware changes are out of
the question at this stage. I'd appreciate you professional opinions about
if you think the design can be achieved with TinyOS. I'd really like to move
our research center towards a common platform for wireless sensors (TinyOS),
and if I can get this going if may enable us to move that way.
Thanks in advance for all your input!
Cheers,
