TinyOS 2.1.1 is now officially released; you can download it from the debian
packages on tinyos.stanford.edu, or manual installation with RPMs with the
instructions on docs.tinyos.net. In CVS, the tags are release_tinyos_2_1_1_3
and release_tools_1_4_0_3.

2.1.1 includes:
o Support for the epic, mulle, and shimmer2 platforms,
o Support for 6lowpan, an IPv6 networking layer within the mote network,
o Support for simple, uniform low-power networking across many protocols,
o Support for security on the CC2420
o Improvements to many existing services and protocols, including the
inclusion of a new dissemination protocol (DHV), improvements to CTP, improved
TOSThreads documentation, and numerous bug fixes.

Because there's a lot of community documentation, it might be a little while
before everything on the docs wiki is in sync. The basic installation
instructions, however, should be up-to-date.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed and helped: the list is too long to
write in entirety, but includes Stephen Dawson-Haggerty, Omprakash Gnawali,
David Gay, Kevin Klues, Razvan Musaloiu-E., Thanh Dang, Steve Ayer, Prabal
Dutta, Jan Hauer, JeongIl Ko, Vlado Handziski, John Regehr, Ankur Kamthe,
Laurynas Riliskis, and Yannick Weibel.

Phil
