Hi all, I have some questions. From RssiDemo, i know there are two kinds of rssi: packet rssi and noise floor rssi. From cc2420 datasheet, i know
- Packer rssi is measured over the first 8 symbols following the SFD. (page 38) - Noise floor rssi is always averaged over 8 symbol period. The RSSI register value RSSI.RSSI_VAL is calculated and continuously updated for each symbol after RSSI has become valid. (page 49) So i am wondering whether packet rssi has some relationship with noise floor rssi? e.g. packet rssi is just the noise floor rssi just after the SFD. How does cc2420 obtain packet rssi and noise floor rssi? Then how does cc2420 update RSSI.RSSI_VAL for each symbol after valid? Does there exist a formula? Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks!
