Hi folks;

I am looking to integrate the use of a TelosB board with a FPGA that houses a
Spartan3 microprocessor (Basys2). My goal is to essentially use a telosb
connected to a PC, to send messages over the radio to another telosb that is
connected to this fpga, which will parse the address that I am requesting, and
send the data. Essentially this is a UART based device but with a single
communication line instead of separate lines for send and receive.

My question is, is this feasible? If so, are there any examples that
demonstrate this? I have been pursuing the idea of using the GPIO on the telos
(I considered I2C but I understand that will limit the use of the radio). Are
there any alternative methods that will make the communications easier? It
seems that if I go the GPIO route, I will essentially be creating my own
messaging protocol.
