Hi,

I'm trying to install tinyos 2.1 on a clean Ubuntu 10.04.

I added the following link in /etc/apt/source.list:

deb http://tinyos.stanford.edu/tinyos/dists/ubuntu lucid main

When I use sudo apt-get update, it shows the following information:

W: Failed to fetch
http://tinyos.standford.edu/tinyos/dists/ubuntu/dists/lucid/Release.gpg
Something wicked happened resolving 'tinyos.standford.edu:http' (-5 - No
address associated with hostname)

W: Failed to fetch
http://tinyos.standford.edu/tinyos/dists/ubuntu/dists/lucid/main/i18n/Translation-en_US.bz2
Something wicked happened resolving 'tinyos.standford.edu:http' (-5 - No
address associated with hostname)

W: Failed to fetch
http://tinyos.standford.edu/tinyos/dists/ubuntu/dists/lucid/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz
Something wicked happened resolving 'tinyos.standford.edu:http' (-5 - No
address associated with hostname)

E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used
instead.

When I use system->administration->software souces to add the tinyos link, then
-> reload, it shows the following information:

The repository may no longer be available or could not be contacted because of
network problems. If available an older version of the failed index will be
used. Otherwise the repository will be ignored. Check your network connection
and ensure the repository address in the preferences is correct.

I can install other softwares, but I can't install tinyos 2.1 successfully in
my computer. Would you please give me some recommendation?

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Jingyao
