Tx power consumption depends on the output power. At 0 dBm of output power, CC2420 consumes 52.2mW in Tx. Whereas its receive power consumption is 56.4mW.
Conversly, CC1000 at 0 dBm consumes 31.2mW in transmission. Receive power consumption of CC1000 is 22.2mW.
