I have some problems concerning my motes! I'm handling a Crossbow Starter Kit which includes 2 sensor nodes and 1 base station! The interface board is mib520, and sensor board MTS400 and the corresponding platform IRIS! Now, running through the tutorials that came with the software package I've seen none of the lessons aren't compatible with my mote kit so I had to adapt! In the cygwin compiler I compiled and installed the TestMTS400.nc. For compiling I used make m2110 and for installing make m2110 install mib520,com3 and so far everything is ok the feedback is Atmel AVR ATmega1281 is found!Now the question. I am basically trying to view the output of the sensor and followed the directions in the guide which state that I should open a Cygwin command prompt window and then type the following: xserve -device=COM4 which I did, I get the following message: XSERVE 2.0.E: $Id: xserve.c,v 1.8.2.3 2007/02/02 17:45:01 rkapur Exp $ Warning: Converting Windows COM4 device to Cygwin device. Using params: [raw] [parsed] [converted] [server port=9001] Opening serial device: /dev/ttyS3 @ 57600 Then there is no output to the screen and the cursor continues to blink without showing something and according to the lessons there should be output scrolling along the screen, but for some reason there isn't. Also, when I verified the telnet conection I've seen that it is a response from the base station concerning the conexion but still I can't vizualize the data!
