A good place to start any time one is directionless is with docs.tinyos.net.

Have you looked at:

http://docs.tinyos.net/index.php/TEPs

<http://docs.tinyos.net/index.php/TEPs>In particular TEP131 has a very good
introduction to creating new platforms.

Have you looked at that?

Exhausting available resources before asking for help is considered
reasonable.
