For a some time now gcc v3.4.x has been widely used to compile for iMote2. Over
this time many of us have had troubles setting up TinyOS for iMote2 or even
installing its gcc. There is a recent post
(http://www.gaps.ssr.upm.es/en/research/wsn/138-compiling-for-an-arm-architecture-imote2-tinyos)
which can help regarding these issues. On the referred link you can find:

-debian packages of updated compilers for iMote2
-a technical report that explains the compiling options and how to set them in
TinyOS 2

In the event that the server is unreachable, you can find a report backup on
http://oa.upm.es/3837

Cheers,

Nelson Dopico
