The 9th International Information and Telecommunication Technologies Symposium 
(I2TS'2010), www.i2ts.org ,
to be held in Rio de Janeiro City, Brazil, serves as an international
forum for people from academia, industry and research labs, for presenting 
recent results in information
and telecommunication technologies research and applications.

WORK SUBMISSIONS:
 
High-quality original papers are solicited. Papers must be unpublished and must 
not be submitted for publication
elsewhere. All papers will be reviewed by Technical Program Committee members 
and other experts active in the
field to ensure high quality and relevance to the conference. Authors of 
accepted papers must attend the
conference to present their contributions.
 
All paper formats (full papers and position papers) should follow IEEE double 
column standard guidelines (on US letter paper, 8 ½ by 11 inches),
as in the link bellow:

Authors should submit their works to JEMS (Journal and Event Management System, 
earlier brazilian EDAS)
in https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/i2ts2010 according to a related category/track 
in JEMS as follow:
 
Full papers: Proposals of 8 pages should be converted to PDF format and 
submitted to the JEMS as an appropriate category
to full paper. Only PDF format will be accepted.
 
Position papers: Proposals of 4 pages should be converted to PDF format and 
submitted to the JEMS as an appropriate
category to position paper.
 
Tutorials: Can be proposed at maximum 1 page, converted to PDF format and 
submitted to the JEMS as an appropriate
category to tutorial.
 
Posters:  1 page (UFSC Format) Poster proposals should be submitted to the JEMS 
as an appropriate category
to poster. After have been accepted, you must make a banner by following  the 
template as showed in the
link bellow. Your banner must be 80cm x 120cm as in:

which will be presented at the hall of the event.  Posters will be published in 
the I2TS 2010 CDs under
the apropriate ISBN for I2TS 2010 proceedings.

Paper Revision  - September 22 - October 26, 2010.
Accept Notificafion - October 27-31, 2010.
Special Sessions for Academy or Sponsor Corporate Showcases (Tutorials, 
Lectures, Workshops, Tools)-  October 31, 2010.
Camera Ready - November 10, 2010.
Event - December 13-15, 2010 (Local: UniRio - Rio de Janeiro City - Brazil).
 
Authors of three best regular papers are invited to submit extended version to 
IEEE R9 Latin America Transactions, internationally indexed
by IEEE Xplore. The I2TS Qualis-CAPES in 2009 is B1 for IV engineering 
committee and B4, in 2010 for computer science committee) equivalent to the best

ACADEMIC OR SPONSOR CORPORATE SHOWCASES: Lectures, Tools, Workshops, 
Shortcourses,
Academy Research Projects and Innovative Technology Research.
 
Academy or Sponsor Corporate Showcases - The former enables academy invited 
laboratories)
to present the recent developments and applications and their future 
directions. The second enables
sponsor companies to present their recent developments and applications and 
company's of products and
services showcases. There will be a time slot for companies to make their 
presentations as Lectures, Tools,
Workshops,  Shortcourses and Academy Research Projects.
 
Lectures - Sessions approaching themes in information technology or 
telecommunication areas.
 
Tools  - These contain implementations or work in progress and must have 4 
pages (2500 words) at maximum.
The tool itself will be exposed at the event. Computers will be available for 
demonstrations during the
presentation.
 
Workshops - Important and recent themes are chose and can be organized in 
telecommunication and computer
science research.
 
Shortcourses  -  Advanced or undergraduate half-day shortcourses can be offered 
in I2TS 2010.
 
Academy Research Projects - Laboratories of universities can show their 
research projects.
