Hello.

Do you want to assess the link between two nodes?

To measure the quality of a link is not such an easy task.
RSSI is certainly a good thing to start with, since it tells you the
received signal strength.
But its use is limited. So you cannot distinguish between signal
strength of the sender and background noise.

You can also use the LQI - Link quality indicator. Please refer to the
standard for further explanation.

To get extended knowledge of the link quality you will probably have to
gather a couple of information,
including RSSI, LQI and frame loss ratio.

In the hope that I was helpful.

Best regard,
J.Buesch
