Any ideas?

I tried to connect the plus terminal of lab power supply to the plus
terminal of multimeter, then I connect the minus terminal of multimeter
to the VCC of Iris Mote (plus terminal of battery pack) and the GND of
Iris Mote (minus terminal of battery pack) to the minus terminal of lab
power supply. Finally I turned on the switch. The multimeter shows 8.5
mA, but I can not understand what is this value beacause the Iris Mote
seems off; in fact when it send a message the red led is on, but all
led, with this configuration, are off.

Someone can help me? Thanks.
