Hi Kartik

If you make an application for Telosb, or any other mote, under TinyOS, the MAC protocol used is the Berkeley's implementation, which is B-MAC. There is a lot of information on Internet, try at IEEE Xplore webpage for articles.

Hi Wasif,

Seems you didn't get my question. I know where mac is in tinyos. I want to know what type of MAC is used by telosb motes? is it S-Mac, B-Mac or X-Mac? Where is the documentation for that?

Thanks,
Kartik

Hi all,

I would like to know what is the current mac protocol used by cc2420 radio chips. I read it our forum archives that it is a combination of B-Mac and X-Mac. I need a proper reference so that I can back up the claim.

Does anyone have any idea where I can find the MAC protocol implementation of cc2420.

Thanks,
Kartik
