I have been running without problems using
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk.x86_64/bin

The key is to verify that
$ ./tools/tinyos/misc/tos-locate-jre --javac
picks up the right java

Note that you to have java-devel packages installed in my case it is
java-1.6.0-openjdk-devel-1.6.0.0-49.1.9.3.fc14.x86_64

Actually... I haven't been using exactly this version as I upgraded to
fedora 14 late last week and have not used TinyOS since...

Ämne: [Tinyos-help] "tos-check-env" errors !

when I type the command "tos-check-env" in the Cygwin for windows, there are
some errors:
tos-check-env completed with errors:
--> WARNING: The JAVA version found first by tos-check-env may not be version 1.
4 or version 1.5one of which is required by TOS. Please ensure that the located
Java version is 1.4 or 1.5
Depending on your PATH environment variable, there is often another version of
java.exe in c:\windows\system32 that is "seen" first. Check that this is version
1.4 or 1.5 or reconfigure your PATH environment variable if this is the case.

How can I correct it ?
Thank you!
with regards
hongliping
