Has anyone done testing of a radio link using a 400 or 900MHz radio with TinyOS to determine the bit error rate (BER) floor? I don't yet have a specific radio in mind but expect to use a radio in one of these two frequency bands. I would also be interested in any feedback on how finicky the radio link is to oscillator drift for a low data rate link. I've seen a problem in the past with low data rates due to narrow receiver BW resulting in an unreliable link.
