Hi,
I try to write an application for vehicle detection using Two-axis magnetic
sensor HMC1002 on MTS310 using Micaz mote. After several researches I found
the MagSensorCode tinyos-2.1.0 code on the web that ports the tinysos-1.x
micasb code to tinyos-2.x. However when running the OscilloscopeC_Magnetic
application (got from MagSensorCode.zip file), I have the following result:
- Result with the Magnetic sensor far from any object:
MagX=204 MgaY= 204
- Result with the Magnetic sensor near from a piece of magnet:
MagX = 789 MgaY= 790
- Result with the Magnetic sensor near from a car or any metal object:
MagX=204 MgaY= 204
The sensor seems detecting the piece of magnet but other metal objects or
there were something wrong in my application.
Please can you give me some explanation or further suggestion on how to
obtain significant values?
