I don't understand what you are asking?

Look at tos/chips/msp430/Msp430ClockInit.nc for an example of the use of the
license.
You would basically put the template text at the start of your file and then
modify the
actual copyright line to include the year (2011) and your name.

This really isn't that difficult nor in practice does it matter that much.
This is open
source.  Unless your new module includes something really really tasty it
won't matter.
So go ahead and add the license text, modify it by adding your name etc.,
and be done
with it.

The license we are talking about is the new BSD license (GNU calls it the
modified BSD license).   It
is the 3 clause new BSD license.
