In fact in my tinyos tree I have the file /tos/interfaces/LowPowerSensing.nc which provides the command void setRemoteWakeupInterval(message_t *msg, uint16_t intervalMs); which is called in the LowPowerSensingBaseC.nc as call LPL.setRemoteWakeupInterval(&request_samples_msg, LPL_INTERVAL+100); where request_samples_msg and LPL_INTERVAL+100 are declared according the command interface.
