Hi Imote2 is no longer sold by MEMSIC (the compagny which bought Crossbow) but there is still a development community (at least stand alone developers that do some job on Imote2).
I am actively using Imote2 with the TKN154 MAC layer for multimedia wireless sensor network. In this connection, I have a question about tinyos community support for Imote2 on the SVN: Recently (?), a change had been done on the SVN repository on the Makerules (tinyos-2.x/support/make/Makerules). On the CVS repository, I had downloaded (1 year ago) the 1.7 version with this lines: /# Allow users to specify additional directories to find TOSMake files. TOSMAKE_TEMP_PATH := $(TOSMAKE_PATH) TOSMAKE_PATH = $(TINYOS_MAKE_PATH) TOSMAKE_PATH += $(TOSMAKE_TEMP_PATH) / Imote2 needs some special make options to compile "good" binaries which are describe in the tinyos-2.x-contrib/intelmote2/support/make/intelmote2.extra file. On the SVN, there is the 1.6 version of Makerules file without this lines. Is it a mistake ? Could you change again for the 1.7 version ?
