I can only refer to the 802.15.4 standard, which specifies: "The MHR for an acknowledgment frame shall contain only the Frame Control field and the Sequence Number field." > What if a nearby node, which is not the recipient of the data > packet, happens to send an ACK with the same DSN? I've seen in simulations that I get "wrong" ACKs from other nodes as you assumed.
