Ok. So now I am turning the SHT11 heater on. I get no errors so I presume it's ok. The value of the status register now changes to 0x07 and the reported temperature is higher. However only the battery powered node effects the changes, not the base station. Then when I try to turn off the heater again, there's no change. It stays "on" and the status is 0x07.
I tried setting the status register to 0x04 directly but again, to no avail. I tested this on telosb and on an atmega1281 platform. Same result. I guess what I am trying to say is that the behaviour of the sensor driver is erratic. Any thoughts?
