Dear Omar,

You may want to have a look at the paper entitled "Analysis of IEEE 802.15.4 
Throughput in Beaconless Mode on micaZ under TinyOS 2" [1]. Although you are 
asking about TelosB, it can be meaningful for you as micaZ and TelosB share 
both the same transceiver and link layer implementation in TinyOS 2.
