I don't know what the smoking gun is here but it is my understanding that IPBaseStation isn't supported on the iris.
I don't know what exactly the "iris" keyword on your driver/ip-driver command line does but you might want to start looking at what it does. But I suspect this will be a waste of time given that IRIS and IPBaseStation are not compatible.
