Hi,

If it's an uisp related problem, you can try to use avrdude for the
older avr platforms as well with this command:

export PROGRAMMER=avrdude

After that, make should use avrdude instead of uisp.

Micheal: Iris uses avrdude by default, so it's not really a platform
dependent bug.
