Another option, if you just need a megabyte of storage, is something
like an AT45DB081D <http://www.atmel.com/Images/doc3596.pdf> flash
memory chip from Atmel. It's already supported by TinyOS, pretty cheap,
and easy to work with using the TinyOS Permanent Storage
<http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-2.x/doc/html/tep103.html> components.

Hi Eric,

Another quick question in reference to the board. It seems the old MM
platform had an external SD memory. I'm guessing the new one will also
have some form of external memory for data logging. Have you implemented
a similar expansion for the experimenter board as well (since you
mentioned you use that for prototyping).

If this is done, would it be possible to share the expansion schematics
and options? I'm looking around for work people have done along this
line, but not much help. I was hoping to put around 1MB of additional
flash for data logging. Also is this functionality incorporated into the
tp-freeforall release of MM5s?

Thanks again for your help.

Regards
Shalabh
