Hi, all, I am fairly new to the TinyOS programming and I am from Civil background, not from EE, so I really hope someone could help me with the wireless communication thing.
What I want to do is as follows: I already have the sensor and codes ready for use. (I use the SBT80EDU board and the SenseToRadio coding to get the reading from sensors.) But right now, the data is directly transmitted back to BaseStation and saved on PC. What I want to do is to transmit the data from the sensor to another medium sensor first and then the data is transmitted back to the BaseStation eventually for processing. (I might have several medium sensors if the transmitting distance is too long.) So based on my understanding, for the sensing mote, I should install the SenseToRadio code. For the medium motes, I should install codes such as PacketParrot. And the BaseStation should have BaseStation code installed. Is that correct? Anyone can offer me some suggestion? And I am using Telosb and I only have two Telosb motes. Is that possible if I could try this in the field or I need to use TOSSIM simulator? Thank you very much. Best, Michael
