Hello all,
I had measured the maximum throughput of telosb in tinyos OS. The
sender and the receiver are all telosb motes. The inter-send time is 1
millisecond. The result is about 39kbps. But the theoretical value is 250kbps.
The serial interface and the radio interface have their respective maximum
throughput. The max stable throughput of serial interface of telosb is
46.4kbps when inter-send timer is 6 milliseconds. The max stable receiving
throughput of radio interface is 49.4kbps when inter-send time is 6
milliseconds. And the max stable sending throughput of radio interface is
24.8kbps when inter-send time is 14 milliseconds.There is detailed information
in the paper "Wireless Sensor Network Platforms - Datasheets versus
Measurements".
Dose the serial interface and the radio interface affect the result? How can I
get the the maximum throughput of telosb?
Tips or suggestions are welcomed
